Hi, I’m Julie Fraser

I’ve worked as a remote nurse and teacher across the Northern Territory for over 30 years. For the past 15 years I’ve called Milner home, where I live with my partner and raised my children.

I’m committed to building a fairer, more sustainable Darwin - where families can thrive, workers are respected, and communities have a real voice.

I will:

Listen to and value the community
I will be available and accountable to the community and ensure council decisions are open and transparent. I will increase community participation in decision making.

Future proof Darwin
We must invest in sustainable infrastructure, cost-effective energy systems and local renewable projects. I will take action to combat climate change and preserve Darwin for the next generation.

Support our youth
I will support youth programs that provide safe spaces, creative opportunities, and positive pathways for young people across Darwin.

Support locals
I will work with small businesses, community groups and local organisations to promote our communities interests. First Nations involvement, local knowledge and innovation is key in achieving this.
